Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order, you indicate your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
COPYRIGHT
All designs on this site are the sole property of Number Nine Design Ltd and are covered by copyright. They may not be reproduced in any fashion without the permission of Number Nine Design Ltd. Any breach of copyright will be pursued.
All designs, prints, artwork, drawings, images and proofs produced are the sole property and copyright of Number Nine Design Ltd.
Number Nine Design Ltd reserves the right to reproduce any part of any work produced by Number Nine Design Ltd for marketing purposes. Unless strictly instructed otherwise by a customer prior to placing an order, Number Nine Design Ltd reserves the right to use any design created for a customer as samples and can photograph this stationery for advertising in print, online wedding directories, across social media and throughout website galleries.
PAYMENT
Full payment is required before your artwork is created and emailed through to you for approval. All dollar amounts are in New Zealand dollars and pricing includes GST.

As Number Nine Design Ltd is a service based business, all of our products are made to order. We do not offer refunds due to change of mind or change of personal circumstances so please choose carefully upon ordering. You are able to change the items in your order if we have not started work on your artwork proof to something else in our range to make up the cost you have already paid.

SUPPLYING YOUR EVENT DETAILS
Submit your order via our shopping cart and make your payment. This confirms your order. Additional wording can be supplied electronically via email after you have placed your order. Any stationery wording can be changed to suit your taste, however the amount of wording used will be limited to the constraints of the design and approved at the discretion of Number Nine Design Ltd.
A guest list template will be emailed to you for you to fill out and send back to us so we can include the correct names and spelling if that option is selected.
COLOURS
Colours presented on our website and in digital proofs are an indication only. Please note that colours can appear different between screens and when printed.
Due to variations in the digital printing process, colours may shift slightly between print runs, and an exact match may not always be achieved.
We have carefully selected to work with suppliers from New Zealand and Australia to supply our products who meet our high standards.
CARD STOCKS + AVAILABILITY
We offer different varieties of card stocks which are specifically suited to our different print methods. Orders are subject to stock availability. In the event of supply difficulties Number Nine Design Ltd will inform you and discuss alternatives.
PROOFING
You will receive an emailed proof of your design within five working days of placing your order. You will need to check this proof carefully for any errors or changes you'd like to make. Notify us of any changes at this stage. You are entitled to three rounds of changes. If your proof requires more changes than this, you will be charged an extra $50 per round of changes which is to be paid before we complete your artwork. You will then be asked to send an approval email which effectively allows us to send your artwork to print. Thoroughly check your proof when you receive it.
ERROR
Number Nine Design Ltd cannot be held responsible for any typing errors noticed after the proofs have been approved. Any amendments made after approval and printing will incur an extra charge. Please notify Number Nine Design Ltd immediately if you notice any errors on your stationery once you have received it. If any errors do occur after approval that differ from your approved artwork, your order will be corrected, printed and delivered at no charge. Client error after the proof has been approved can be reprinted at the clients expense. The re-print will be placed in the print cue at the time of second approval and will not be prioritised over other customer orders if the client is at fault.
CUSTOM DESIGN
Custom orders are charged a custom design fee and then a printing fee as per our printing price structure in the online store. Request a quote for any custom design idea you have in mind. Any custom design project follows the same terms and conditions outlined in this document.
The custom design fee covers our design time only. This fee does not entitle you to receive any finished artwork file that we may have created for you. If you require the print ready or high res files also, please discuss your needs with us prior to paying for your custom design.
Any design Number Nine Design Ltd creates for you, remains the sole property of Number Nine Design Ltd.
The custom design fee entitles the customer to two rounds of changes to their proof. Further rounds of changes will be charged out accordingly. Please take the time to check over your proof thoroughly and return any changes in one email as this is counted as your first round of changes.
We encourage you to send us as a very clear brief, as much detail, imagery, font and colour ideas as possible so we can create your design to vision from the out-set and save you additional rounds of changes.
Once your custom design is completed, Number Nine Design Ltd reserves the right to include it as part of our pre-designed range, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to the design process.
MAP ILLUSTRATION
If you would like a map illustration created and included in your invitation you must supply us with a screen capture or website link of the venue that has a map for us to draw. Please indicate and highlight to us any specific landmarks or other information you would like included. Map artwork does incur a custom design fee. Please enquire regarding pricing on map illustration.
TIMING AND DELIVERY
Timeframes are an indication only. Timeframes are dependent on the time of year and capacity at the time. Once we receive your order, payment, and wording, we will begin working on your design. Please allow five working days to receive your emailed proof. Once you are happy with the emailed proof you will be asked to approve to go to print. Once you have sent us your approval indicating your artwork is correct, allow at least 2 - 3 weeks for printing assembly and delivery (dependant on print method chosen).
At certain peak times of the year please ensure you order your stationery in advance to avoid stress of any potential extended lead time. It is important to note that design revisions and delay in responses, feedback, approval and payment may also delay your stationery order. It is your responsibility to order in advance.
If you require a shorter delivery time let us know and we will do our best to meet your deadline.
Rush orders may incur an additional fee.
DELIVERY CHARGES WITHIN NEW ZEALAND
The cost for delivery within New Zealand for stationery orders will be calculated at checkout, based on items within your order. Packages are couriered out of Auckland, New Zealand. Large format signage does incur a separate delivery fee. Pick up option is available for large format signage from our studios (Red Beach or Orewa).
We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
International customers: Please email us for a quote regarding your stationery and we will give you a price for delivery.
LOSS OR DAMAGE
Number Nine Design Ltd cannot be held responsible for any delays, loss or damage caused in transit once the order has been dispatched. We will take the utmost of care to ensure safe and appropriate packaging and delivery methods are used.
You will be supplied with a courier tracking number on the day that your package is collected from our studio so you can track your goods from door to door.

We encourage you to check the price of postage for your chosen envelope size prior to purchasing.

HIRE ITEMS
Any items hired through Number Nine Design must be returned within a 4 day timeframe unless organised prior. A bond will be charged as part of your hire fee. In the event where items are returned late, damaged or lost, your bond fee will not be refunded and will be charged to the client at a full replacement cost (if bond does not cover full amount).
The client may cancel a hire order at anytime, but acknowledges they will forfeit the hire fee payment already made due to limited availability on our items's. However, the security bond will be reimbursed upon cancellation of an order.
Cancellation of a booking due to weather, or any situation out of the control of Number Nine Design Ltd, shall still be subject to the cancellation policy above. We are in no way responsible for weather or the client's personal situation or unforeseen circumstances that may lead to event or booking cancellation.
Once an item is picked up from our location, the client has full responsibility of all/ any item hired until it is returned to us.
The client shall protect the hire item/s from the elements during the time of hire. In poor weather conditions storage of the hire item/s may be necessary and is the responsibility of the client to see that the item/s are stored safely. Any item damaged from weather is the full responsibility of the client and shall be paid at full replacement cost to Number Nine Design Ltd.
Any items collected and returned by the client shall be delivered back to to Number Nine Design Ltd in a clean and well maintained condition. Should an item become damaged while in the possession of the client, it is the client's responsibility to notify us immediately after the event should the item not be in a satisfactory condition. The bond will not be reimbursed and it is then at Number Nine Design Ltd’s discretion to charge any additional replacement fee for the item.

If a quote has been supplied by Number Nine Design Ltd, please take note of the quote expiration date is this date will be strictly enforced.

Purpose of collection: To provide products or services to you, process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations. We also use this information to communicate with you and screen orders for potential risk or fraud.
Source of collection: Collected directly from you.
Disclosure for a business purpose: Shared with our processor Squarespace and other service providers as necessary for order fulfillment.
Using Personal Information
We use your personal information to provide our services, including offering products for sale, processing payments, shipping and fulfillment of your order, and keeping you updated on new products, services, and offers.
